Simple Terms *Last updated: November 2025* Lingot is an independent, language-based, not-for-profit platform where words are minted, guarded, and shared as digital symbols of meaning. Lingot develops and maintains this system to offer a transparent and poetic space for linguistic creation — free from speculation, intrusive advertising, and hidden ownership — supported by small contributions that help keep the platform alive and meaningful and generates a charitable fund. The only information Lingot requires for you to use the platform is public, meaning that Lingot does not need, collect, or store any private data. Lingot does not sell, trade, or share any kind of data with anyone. You use the platform to mint, own, and display the words you love — and by doing so, you commit to respecting language itself, as well as others’ intellectual and creative rights. A small share (2%) of every minting transaction supports Stripe Climate and Frontier, helping to remove carbon from the atmosphere. You also use the platform to explore other people’s Lingots, just like a global vault of words shared with care. ■
